Holiday Style Kick Off December 2, 2013 19:58

The night before Thanksgiving is one of the biggest going out nights of the year and I couldn't possibly show up to where almost everybody I knew in high school was looking like I've lived under a rock since I moved away this past year. This outfit was perfect and definitely started off my holiday style with a bang! Here's what I wore:
-Wine Velvet Leggings from American Apparel
-Blazer Inspired Sweater from the Loft
-Silk Tank from Urban Outfitters
-Marc by Marc Jacobs Mini Leather Drawstring Bag
-Heavy Metal Necklace from H&M
-Metal Embellished Leather Booties by Dolce Vita

Trend Alert: Velvet Everything! December 2, 2013 19:52

Use velvet pieces as a focal point for your outfit. The fabric works well for fall and winter clothing items as well as accessories. Get it in a festive color perfect for holiday outfits!

We aren't sure what we love more... the effortless one piece or the perfect accessories. Selena Gomez looks flawless in this outfit complete with a structured bag, slightly oversized sunglasses, and amazing studded sandals!
